ALMA Observing Tool

ATC engineers and scientists are currently leading development of the ALMA Observing Tool which will be the astronomers' main interface with the Atacama Large Millimetre Array. It will be a tool to enable astronomers unfamiliar with submillimetre aperture synthesis to direct the massive observatory correctly while at the same time supporting the needs of experienced observers.
